Known for his distinct aesthetics, Sabyasachi is a celebrated personality in the realm of Indian fashion. 

A deeply passionate artist for whom socio-cultural standpoints, values of revivalism, and modernism form the irreversible attributes of fashion, Sabyasachi is renowned for his exquisite designs and meticulous craftsmanship. 

Hailing from Kolkata, he embarked on an illustrious journey in 1999 when he launched his label, ‘Sabyasachi’. Since then, he has soared to prominence, putting Indian fashion on the global map with his commitment to celebrating Indian artisanry. 

Not just a prolific fashion designer, Sabyasachi even delved into the intricacies of jewelry designing, only to launch a line of jewelry in 2008, exclusively designed by himself, in association with the GAJA brand. 

Sabyasachi later forayed into the film industry by designing costumes for iconic Bollywood movies like ‘Black’ and ‘English Vinglish’, which earned him critical acclaim and the prestigious National Award for Best Costume Designer.

His creations have graced red carpets worldwide, adorning international celebrities like Renée Zellweger and Reese Witherspoon, establishing his status as a global fashion icon.
